The accommodation has been recently remodeled, preserving some original details such as the light switches and part of the decoration, like the milk jug at the entrance and the iron. The neighborhood is very quiet, surrounded by mountains, and is only 5 minutes by car from supermarkets, a pharmacy, bars, cafés, restaurants, and offers quick access to the highway and the airport. As it is on the outskirts of the city, in a rural area, we recommend that you use a vehicle, although public transport is available 5 and 15 minutes on foot from the accommodation. In Tacoronte, you can visit local wineries, the sandy beach at Mesas del Mar, and the Agua García forest, where you can walk along trails and discover centuries-old viñátigos and the Cave of Toledo. In addition, the city of La Laguna, declared a World Heritage Site, is very close and offers numerous buildings of architectural value. La Casita del Cestero is a small home located in a rural setting, 10 minutes from the airport and surrounded by mountains.
