Guadalmina is an upmarket beachside community, very centrally located on the Costa del Sol, approximately 10 minutes drive from Marbella’s Puerto Banus and further west to the lively town of Estepona and it’s even closer to the charming town and neighbourhood of San Pedro de Alcántara.
Golf & Spa The urbanisation has a 36 hole golf course and there are three further quality courses nearby: Monte Mayor, Atalaya Golf and El Paraiso. Around Guadalmina The Guadalmina Commercial Centre has a good choice of amenities and services, including a large supermarket, deli, banks, numerous restaurants and cafés, an English language bookstore, an excellent children’s indoor play park, which serves great food for both kids and adults, furniture stores, and many other retail outlets.
Beaches The beach at Guadalmina offers a pretty stretch of golden sands, with both beach restaurants and stylish beach bars. Puerto Banus beach is 10 minutes away, and from there down to Estepona, the beaches offer excellent facilities, clean sands and lots of activities.
Eating Out The commercial centre and urbanisation of Guadalmina have a very good selection of restaurants, mainly international. The nearby resorts of San Pedro, Marbella and Estepona are all within 20 minutes drive and offer an even larger selection of dining options.
Climate Guadalmina enjoys a sub-tropical Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and warm winters. Cooling breezes from the sea make the summer heat manageable; temperatures average 32 ºC during the summer.
