Charming fisherman's house in a fantastic location right on the water in the harbour of Cala Figuera. The bright and cosy house is modern and comfortable and offers a great view of the harbour. In the 1960s/70s, this very pretty fishing village was a stronghold for young people on a budget. I googled it... here you can read all about what was there back then and what they experienced. Fun to read 😊. The little house is located parallel to the promenade in the second line. This makes it easy to walk to the restaurants. In terms of layout, it is a typical Mallorcan house. The bedrooms are to the left and right of the entrance area. Behind them is a small bathroom and straight ahead is the living area with sitting area, flat screen TV and open kitchen. There is not much left of the layout when Maria, the owner, raised her three sons together with her husband Tomeu. Toni, the eldest son, is an architect. My guests who have fallen in love with Casita Els Sestadors will once again be amazed by this young man's creativity. This newly built house has two floors and is situated in a quiet location on a very large plot with wonderful views from the first floor over the pool with garden and the Mediterranean Sea in Cala Figuera. The two bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and each have a bathroom with shower and a private balcony. The modern designer kitchen offers everything: state of the art appliances, beautiful crockery and cutlery, etc. The living/dining room is also furnished to a high standard and has a fireplace for relaxing evenings in autumn and winter. Both areas have direct access to the pool area, the terrace is fully furnished and the barbecue is situated next to a typical old stone house. The whole house has underfloor heating. Finca Buena Vida has been operated with renewable energies from a photovoltaic system that generates its own electricity consumption since November 2020. The upper bedroom (also with A/C), which also has a small terrace, can be reached via the open staircase. This house is the ideal gateway for a couple, with or without children, who is looking to enjoy a quiet and comfortable stay. One of the bedrooms is equipped with a double bed while the other room is equipped with two single beds. Both bedrooms face the exterior of the house, one to the street and the other one to the patio. The house is very luminous since all rooms and areas have openings (windows or doors) to the exterior as in a tipical mediterranean architecture. The beautiful house is built in 1950 from natural stone of Santanyí. It is located in a very quiet place with panoramic views in the bay of Cala Figuera. It is fresh throughout the summer and is a great opportunity to rest and relax with family and friends. Ground floor of the house is rented with 2 double bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and large terrace over the sea with beautiful views. The house is close to the Mondragó Natural Park where there is a great landscape diversity: the olive and pine forests, the dry land cultivation fields, the coastal junipers, the sweet pond of s'Amarador, the coast cut with rocky areas and beaches of sand. The beaches of the most beautiful on the island with fine golden sand, calm waters (Cala Santanyi, Cala Llombards, Cala Mondragó, Playa de s'Amarador) are about 5-10 minutes away by car or little more with bicycles. This very impressive finca is situated between Santanyi and Cala Santanyi on a wonderful terraced plot. All in all it has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, several living rooms, a small kitchen inside and a large kitchen outside next to the pool area. Four bedrooms with direct access to the covered terrace and 2 bathrooms are on the first floor. Another bedroom and a bathroom are on the ground floor, with access to the generous pool area with large solarium and the fully equipped outdoor kitchen with barbecue and guest toilet. Less than one kilometre away is the village Santanyí, a typical Majorcan village. There you will find everything for your daily needs. There are two large supermarkets, pharmacies, ATMs, bars with live music, exhibitions and much more. On Wednesdays and Saturdays the popular weekly market takes place. Furthermore, Santanyí is the ideal starting point for excursions in the surrounding area or for visits to the beach. Particularly remarkable are the beaches of S'Amarador, Cala Mondragó, Cala Santanyí and Cala Llombards, as well as the beautiful long sandy beach Es Trenc, located between Colonia Sant Jordi and Sa Ràpita.
