Mentioned in both The Times Best Secluded Beach Cottages in the UK 2023 and Best Beach Retreats in the UK 2024 is this quaint dwelling, Oakridge Cottage. Oakridge Cottage is a romantic, stone-fronted fisherman’s cottage, hidden within the cobbled streets of the picturesque fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay. As you step inside the property you are greeted by the charm of the open living / dining / kitchen area, the property has recently undergone renovation and extensive modernisation whilst still retaining original features such as sash windows, beamed ceilings and wooden floors. Enjoy quality time as you work together in the country-style kitchen to create a mouth-watering meal, as you enjoy a glass of wine listening to your favourite music through the internet radio, then get the woodburning stove going and spend the evening snuggled up with one another (perhaps with your furry friend) as you catch up on your box sets or stream a movie from the Smart TV. Climb the traditional winding staircase up to the first floor and make yourself comfortable under the duvet, pick up your favourite book or pop on the other Smart TV and then drift away into a deep sleep. As you wake the next morning, wander through into the shower room, place your towel on the heated rail and enjoy a rejuvenating shower. Once refreshed and ready for the day make your way back down the staircase and enjoy a...

Over 300 years old, Endways is a delightful cottage nestled in the heart of the old village of Robin Hood's Bay. For those of you who know Bay, Endways is situated up the steps in front of Berties of Bay, or along Martins Row which runs behind The Laurel pub. We continue to keep looking at the cottage from a guests perspective and keeping things fresh. We are rather proud about how lovely it is now looking. The cottage is situated in the heart of the old village which is built into the hill. This means that there are steps to almost all cottages in Lower Bay though they’re generally not too steep. On the ground floor is a lovely lounge which extends into a dining area which comfortably seats six, and a really well appointed kitchen with everything included to make things easy for you - dishwasher, washing machine, ever important wine and champagne glasses, plenty of matching crockery and cutlery, etc. Our latest addition is a Nespresso coffee machine for your daily caffeine fix. On the first floor are two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a recently renovated bathroom. Up a further flight of stairs and you come to a further luxurious washroom/WC with rainfall shower and also the third bedroom (double). WiFi is available throughout the cottage. There is central heating throughout the property, and an endless supply of hot water. All beds are made up with coordinating linens...
