Welcome to this two-hundred-year-old traditional country house, which for many years has been in the hands of a local family. Their warmth and the passing of their family history, told with love from parents to children, is captured in their rooms. Being only 300 metres from Órgiva, it is a pleasant walk of less than five minutes from town. The walk leads us to the automatically opening main gate, which when opened shows us luxuriant gardens. Ancient cypresses, orange trees and other fruit trees (grapefruit, persimmon, quince, plum, avocado, lemons and mandarins) stand majestically with Sierra Lújar as a backdrop. Ornamental plants, geraniums, rose bushes and hibiscus paint the gardens with colours. A charming and shaded townhouse in a very quiet side street just minutes from the shops and cafes. Very recently refurbished to a high standard with a luxurious modern bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and shady roof terrace with views of the town and the mountains. The Kitchen/dining room has a large dining table, a wood pellet burner and there is a high chair for infants. Our favorite room is the lounge at the top of the house, roomy, comfortable, with lots of light and equipped with air-conditioning/heater. It is perfect for several families and offers a lovely swimming pool and beautiful surroundings. The farmhouse is surrounded by olive trees and is ideal to enjoy the countryside and silence. You can make trips to nearby cities, such as Granada. Furthermore, you can make beautiful walks in the area. This property is located on a 2-hectare estate and offers privacy and relaxation. Only a 40 minute drive away lies the Aparcamiento Puente Palo nature reserve while only a 17-minute drive away is the Castillo de Lanjarón in Granada,. Next to the main building is a generously sized studio with 1 double bedroom and a bathroom. Wi-Fi is available and on summer days you can cool down in the pool.
