The apartments replicate the wagons of the train that was supposed to cover the Jerez-Almargen railway line in the 19th century, but was never carried out. Our house is ideally located on the route of the white villages, 1H15 from Seville, Malaga and beaches, as well as the major centers of historical and cultural interest that are in Andalusia. Many activities are possible nearby, the Via Verde de la Sierra offers many hiking, horse riding, cycling ... From paragliding to Algodonales etc ... Our house offers all the facilities of the city and the advantages of a small village. Within a hundred meters there are supermarkets, greengrocers, pastry shops, pharmacy, bars etc. and, rare pearl in the city, a swimming pool of 3 X 4 m to refresh you during the hot Andalusian days. Calle Peñón is a street where you can stop but not park, which guarantees calm and tranquility. Only the baker and the garbagemen go every day. There is nevertheless the possibility of parking nearby. LOS MELEROS GENERAL INTRODUCTION Los Meleros is a lovely old Andalucian finca set within its own grounds, reached down a track and completely private but within 1 ½ kilometres by car of Olvera – known as the King of the Pueblos Blancos - in the Sierras of Cádiz Province. The house has been restored to a very high standard whilst still retaining the farmhouse feeling with access to country walks. The garden is mature with many fruit trees, herbs and flowers and swimming pool. There is an abundance of bird life including hoopoes, golden oriels, eagles and the wonderful song of the nightingales at night. The owners farm the land as well as their own, which is adjacent to Los Meleros, thus they are always on hand to help or advise. They also have pottery and fused glass studios and small gallery which can be visited by arrangement.
