The typical but certain saying of “Unity makes strength” gains complete meaning when referred to holiday rentals in Spain. As we’ve already informed you, each of the 17 regions in Spain have the power to regulate the holiday rentals market and each one of them is taking their own good time or simply have not planned to do it. The decrees that have been drafted or approved till today don’t always have a positive impact in the industry for homeowners or platforms. 

 

Since 2011, several Holiday Rentals Associations have appeared to give support and voice to the industry's homeowners, agents and platforms in front of local administrations and hotel lobbies. The representants of these Associations meet the politicians that have to create new laws for the industry but don’t really know how it has been working till today. 

 

Spain-Holiday.com is member of Apartsur (Andalusian Association of Holiday and Touristic Rentals) and of Fevitur (National Federation of Associations of Holiday Rentals and Apartments). In this way we can be completely updated on regulations, know more about industry news, we exchange experiences with other members and platforms and we sum our efforts to give the maximum visibility to the holiday rental market in Spain.
