Damson Cottage is situated on a quiet lane in the picturesque hamlet of Crook, a lovely one-bedroom cottage, part of a cluster of white-washed stone buildings dating back to the 17th century when the property was originally a local mill workers' cottage. The gorgeous stone building has been refurbished while maintaining several original features, including exposed beaks and the interior gable-end stone wall. The "upside-down" property consists of the entrance hallway leading to the double bedroom - a lovely room with fitted wardrobes and French doors leading to the outside rear of the property. Also on the ground floor is the bathroom. It should be noted that Damson Cottage doesn't have a walk-in shower. However, guests have the use of the hand-held shower extension if required. The spacious open-plan living area with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams is upstairs.
