Vidreres is typically Catalan and not yet discovered by many tourists, so you can mix with the local populace. The shops surround the beautiful church. Lloret the Mar (at 8 km) is well known for the beach and its night life, but a visit to the town center itself is also worthwhile. The town centre is still authentic with its own personality and customs. For sightseeing you can visit the Sant Roman church in the centre, the Roman tower and several museums. Just west of Lloret de Mar is its oldest sanctuary: the Ermita de Sant Quirze. Unfortunately groups of youngsters (average age below or equal to 25) are not allowed in this holiday residence.
