The Atalaya Golf Club was built in 1968 and is located approximately 10km from the center of Marbella.
Situated in an unbeatable location in the Sierra Blanca mountains with spectacular views over the Mediterranean, La Concha and the surrounding countryside.
The fairways are lined with pine, palm & eucalyptus trees and azaleas that fill the air with a heady scent that provide the perfect setting for an enjoyable day's golf.
The clubhouse, designed in true Andalusian country estate fashion, offers a great location in which to enjoy a drink.
The course
The course is divided into two separate courses, the old and the new.
The old course is the more technical and demanding of the two. With its wide fairways, elevated greens and spectacular views of the La Concha, it seems, at first glance, to be relatively straightforward. In fact, the shape of its hills, the many bunkers and the speed of its greens and fairways, make it a challenging course to even the most professional player.
The new course was built in 1990 and is slightly more inland. It offers spectacular views of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean. Although the fairways are wide and level, the speed of the greens and the abundant vegetation, provide some technical difficulty.

Directions:Ctra 0.7 Km de Benahavis Estepona Málaga. Coming from Malaga on the A7-N340, take the exit at KM 170. If coming from Algeciras, take the exit "Benahavis" to KM 169. The Club is located between San Pedro and Estepona.
