As a child, when I was coming from Paris to spend my two months of summer holidays in Calella (my mother is from this village), I felt like I was in paradise. Leaving this place was always a wrench. Today I live there all year round (when I'm not travelling...which I often do) and I still have that privileged feeling of being, in this house, in paradise. In fact, on the heights of Calella de Palafrugell, one of the most beautiful seaside villages, is located, in a small dead-end street (therefore very quiet), the villa ENTRE CIEL ET MER, a house built in 1978 by my parents on the highest hill of Calella's seaside (100 m above sea level). With a surface area of 180 M2, it was built on two floors and completely renovated in 2017 and 2018. The villa has the peculiarity and the unique chance to have a double view: on the sea but also on the green countryside with impressive sunsets. During its renovation, I wished to highlight the extraordinary potential of this house, choosing to enlarge the windows and to put only one pane of glass per window, making each one a living tableau, changing according to the time of day and the mood of the weather.
