Playa Malapesquera / Torrebermeja is the largest and most popular of Benalmadena's beaches. A regular Blue Flag winner, it's not hard to understand its popularity. Let's take a look.
Malapesquera / Torrebermeja Beach Benalmádena
The beach is situated just to the east of Puerto Marina about a ten minute walk from Benalmádena's centre.
Malapesquera's central location and the abundance of services and amenities ensure that occupation levels are high. It can and does get very busy during the summer months.
As with all the beaches in this area, the sand is dark and coarse. Playa Malapesquera is approximately 700m long and 50m wide.
The beach is popular with all, young and old alike. Families, tourists and locals are all regulars. The wide diversity of activities, the sheltered and shallow waters, and the abundance of green areas, make the beach a popular choice for families.
Torrebermeja is actually the only beach in Benalmádena that has these large green areas, with lawns and palm trees that offer plenty of shade and respite from the hot Andalusian sun.
